Opportunity:
A highly creative promotional product distribution firm was looking to further develop a concept for a new desktop promotional product with wide, crossover appeal. They had identified a need for an item that would allow for one-hand dispensing of a popular brand of sticky flags used by professionals to highlight and bookmark documents.

Challenge:
The first challenge was the engineering of a dispensing device that would work efficiently and effectively. Once accomplished, the second challenge was to incorporate the function into a design that was both aesthetically pleasing and well suited for the promotion of the client's stable of consumer brands.

Solution:
IPS engineers explored multiple material and engineering options before presenting the client with our recommendations. Working closely with the client, we identified the look and feel that would give the item universal appeal, and would allow for the most flexibility with regard to customization and logo application.

Result:
The flag dispenser has become one of the most popular items in the client's line of office-related promotional products. The item is practical and attractive, and the large, printable, top surface makes it the ideal item to keep a brand reminder on the desk of a potential customer.
